PADI Search and Recovery Diver, have you ever found that amazing artifact, or lost something which you need to locate at sea?Well the PADI Search and Recovery Speciality introduces all these elements in a great fun, practical and very useful experience course. The PADI Search and Recovery Speciality covers all aspects from using lift bags to safely and correctly recover an outboard engine, to how to organise a thorough underwater search for those smaller items, like a dive torch or car keys!! On the Teign Diving Centre PADI Search and Recovery course you will expereince all these practical diving skills and more!! 

Teign Diving Centre runs the PADI Search and Recovery speciality at local coastal dive sites, where you can learn how to both locate and recover objects. We use a collection real objects to Search for and then Recover including dive torches, keys, large weights, propellors and boat engines!! Not simply an exercise in lifitng a weightbelt. 

The skills you learn in this course enhance your ability to navigate as well as teaching you the skills required to use lift bags on a variety of objects as outlined above! The search part of the search and recovery links in very well with the PADI Underwater Navigator Speciality and the recovery part of the course, using lift bags, is a great way to improve your buoyancy control as well as use of an SMB.

Who's the PADI Search and Recovery Diver for, What you get, When and How!
