PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.... The Adventure Continues!! (Standard Schedule) The PADI Advanced Open Water is one of the PADI Adventures in Diving course options along with the PADI Adventure Diver and PADI Adventure Dives. The PADI Advanced Open Water (Often referred to as the PADI Advanced) is the next stage for most PADI Open Water Divers. Once qualified you will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 30m (Or the depth you get experience for during your course).  The course enables you to experience 5 new Adventure Dives which will include the PADI Deep Adventure Dive and the PADI Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive along with 3 additional dives.
PrerequisitesTo participate in the course you must be a qualified entry level diver either with a PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivilent, (we have options for both Adult's and Junior divers). Course ContentThe PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course consists of 5 PADI Adventure Dives, 2 of these are core dives i.e they are mandatory, these are the PADI Deep Adventure Dive and the PADI Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive. The remaining 3 dives are chosen from the vast array of PADI Adventure dives. The Standard option course at Teign Diving Centre includes 3 dives that are taken from the following PADI Adventure Dives: Your Instructors will select which dives you will be doing from this list however your course will include dives form a boat and on wrecks i.e you may do a wreck dive, which will be conducted from a boat but can only be credited as one dive. If you wish to do other dives or have more say in your choice of dives you will need to look at one of our additional course options here.  We run the course on a part time schedule with knowledge review sessions being conducted over 2 evenings and the dives being arranged at mutually convenient times, usually evenings and weekends. This schedule allows divers to enjoy the dives and have opportunities to gain experience between dives.
We also ensure that you get the best diving experiences possible by including several boat dives (Usually 3 or 4) and making sure that your Deep dive actually takes you close to your 30m limit to maximise your training and expereince! Price £275 Contact now |
