Red Nose Dive PDF Print E-mail

On Saturday 10th of March, more than 20 people met on Babbacombe beach to dive, have fun and raise money for Comic Relief. At 10 am, the participants dressed up in pyjamas, including men in their nighties, all with their big red noses.

The rib rides were run by Luke Rogers, and both divers and non-divers enjoyed a trip around the bay.  Many of the divers had brought their children along; to enjoy a family day out, and to laugh at all the adults in their pj’s. Food and hot drinks were served at the café, and everyone enjoyed a nice, sunny spring day. The Red Nose Dive was a big success, with over £180 being donated to charity. We would like to thank Emma Holman for her excellent idea and Katharine, Pete and Nicola for keeping an eye on everybody from the shore and all of you who participated, and for all the generous donations!
