The Greleen was transporting iron ore from Bilbao, Spain to Middlesbrough when she was torpedoed on her port side by Oberleutnant Howaldt in his UB-40 just off Berry Head.  Because of the nature of her cargo she sank rapidly.  She is intact with only a few holes.  Her stern gun is still on her but broken from the mounting pedestal.
