Type: Wreck

Max Depth: 32m

Minimum Qualification: Advanced Open Water Diver (Or Equivilent)

The Boma was transporting her cargo of hay, potatoes and straw from Belfast to St Helens, Isle of Wight, when she was torpedoed by Kapitanleutnant Viebeg in his UB-80 as she was passing through Lyme Bay.  She sank to a sandy seabed.  52 years later, in 1970 she was salvaged but some portholes can still to be found on her.  Her bows are intact but her hull is badly broken.  Care must be taken if penetrating as some areas appear to be more solid than they are.
